Me thinks you need a history lesson before you shoot your mouth off.

BTW...Ma Richards was the gov back then. Bush was elected in '94...thankfully. If Clayton Williams had not been such an idiot...he would have been the gov back then and things may have been different.

Interesting new development if confirmed:

"ITAR-TASS informs with reference to sources in the United Group of Troops' headquarters, a large-scale special operation has been launched in Chechnya. "Special forces of the army are searching the republic for all kinds of terrorist groups." Three terrorists have already been killed near the settlement of Novogroznensky after they attempted to put up resistance to the special forces. Servicemen say that food supplied by the Danish charitable organization to the republic was found near the place where the three terrorists were killed. Documents, weapons, explosives, and drugs were withdrawn from the terrorists."

Some time earlier, a video tape was demonstrated, in which Aslan Maskhadov actually claimed responsibility for the terrorist act in Moscow."

My point was that no matter which "party" is in power---republican or democrat--there is a seamless policy; all the strum and drang of the "election process" notwithstanding. The savage bigotted profiling of "white (christian) gun nuts" by Federal agencies will continue no matter which party is in power because that is the cultural mindset of the kingdom of Washington DC. And to a tragic extent that mindset has been internalized by a shocking number of Americans out in the "hinterlands"...

And speaking of the the man who replaced Ma Richards---did he ever make any comments about the siege of WACO? Was he ever even asked? And does he really believe that "islam is a peaceful religion"? Or is he just saying that--as so many Bush believers around here maintain--because he afraid of a brutal backlash by white, christian gun nuts?

Oooops. There's that cultural mindset again.....

Also, observe how the bureacracy continues to reward its own with bonuses and promotions no matter what debacle has occured. Larry Potts after Ruby Ridge; the bimbo in charge of granting Attah and the boyz visas. Etc. etc. By the way, why is the current head of the CIA still firmly in the saddle? Do you really believe---as he claimed at the congressional investigations--that the CIA did "all it could" leading up to September 11th?
