I know Jesus. And let me tell you, Muhammad is no Jesus. I suggest all Moslems take a hard look at a personal relationship with Jesus, and open their hearts to the gospel. The short and long term benefits are infinitely better. And you don't have to kill people to go to heaven, or lie to the "infidels". All Muhammad will do for you is make you more prone to believing lies and liars. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me (my sacrifice)". Don't be fooled by the current state of America, and the liberal rats who are trying to wreck it. This country became great and prosperous for ONE reason. It was founded by Christians, and its foundation of laws, justice, and freedom are all based on the Bible. Read the writings of all the Founding Fathers of this country, they were all God fearing religious people who believed in Jesus.

I have only one small correction (or addition) to your post. Thomas Paine, Ben Franklin, and, to some extent, Thomas Jefferson were not Christians, like their colleagues, but neither were they atheists, by any stretch. They were deists who were raised in the same English, Christian thought as Washington, Madison, Henry and the others, and agreed wholeheartedly on the basic tenets, which, as you said, had their base in an enlightened understanding of the Christian Bible.

Where to start.......okay, first I have to stop shaking my head, back and forth. Look, I'll be nice....I'm so very happy that you know Jesus...greet him for us all. In the end, it's your "personal relationship"...isn't that the lingo?
You know, your post has has everything to do with the subject at hand....which is for "some" Freepers to stop bashing people's religious beliefs...whether they have one, a different one or none at all.
Ahem...this includes trying to convert us to your belief system. As quite a few freepers have pointed out...there is a difference between the Islamists and your average muslim. Note that during the 2000 election, the republicans enjoyed their support.
I know we're all frustrated with the fact that we haven't heard alot of them speak out...Think about this for a moment ....before Sept 11th, except for John Zogby and his polls...you never heard much from muslims in the US at all.
