If we decided to grow a pair and fight this war the way it's supposed to be fought, EVERY ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT would be on the way out, Concealed/Carry permits would be way up, and the INS waould actually be doing something other than eating donuts. Agreed. Political correctness has permeated all the way from the top to the bottom. It is a generalized fear by the police not to appear to accuse thugs of certain groups for fear of offending PC sensibilities.

Just like its ugly counterpart on the other extereme, racisim, it is ingrained in society and will continue until confronted.
