On a nearby street corner, a handful of Iraqi Americans staged a counterdemonstration. Aziz al-Taee, spokesman for the Iraqi American Council, said, "I think America is doing just fine. ... We think every day Saddam stays in power, he kills more Iraqis."

"Bush's actions are way precipitous," said baguette carrier Steve Sutcher. "Doing this without international support, it feels like we are thugs."

And I wonder what he would be saying it feels like if we had international support?

Let's see now.

Innocent men women and children doing nothing but going about their peaceful daily lifes. A helicopter flies over and drops little pieces of paper to determine the direction of the wind. Those on the ground look upon this curiously as the helicopters turn and leave.

An hour later the sound of the helicopters returns. A girl looking out her window notices small animals acting strangely, then a bird in a cage hanging outside her window turns over dead. She herself starts to feel ill.

Outside people are now starting to fall, writher. A women holding a baby drops to the ground the baby she is no longer able to hold in her grasp. A moment later she falls to the ground barely able to lay her arm across the child as she coughs, chokes and gags on the gas the helicopters have released on the orders of a dictator.

Today, thousands will march mindlessly, in fad and in fashion, in support of that dictator, protesting George Bush and his initiative to remove that dictor, Saddam Husein, from power.

If the President listened to these people and backed down, and Saddam hit America, I wonder how many of them would be demonstrating in the streets because the President didn't do anything to stop Saddam. Clueless dipwads, all.

ANSWER (Act Now to Stop War & End Racism) Coalition, which was formed after Sept. 11.

Cool. Very Cool. I wonder if there is a coalition that advocates pretty sunsets and warm puppies. Well, there should be. After Saddam sets off a big one, there is going to be enough radio active dust in the air to make some really awsome sunsets (if you are alive to see them).
