The race for U.S. senator in New Jersey has been one of the strangest electoral contests in recent memory.
The ethically challenged Democratic incumbent, Bob Torricelli, abruptly quit the race on Sept. 30, and was replaced - in a move of dubious legality - by former Sen. Frank Lautenberg, who'd retired two years ago.

So the tally on endorsements is something like this:
Forrester- NY Post, Asbury Park Sunday Press, Cherry Hill Courier-Post, Express-Times (Easton, Pa).
Where-is-Frank nabs Sunday Star-Ledger, Philly Inquirer.
And the Sunday Record of Bergen County did not endorse Forrester, but gave a thumbs down to Lautenberg.
