C'mon Willie man! I was just doing a little ribbing. I know that you normally post articles about companies laying off thousands of workers and such. No personal attack or disrespect intended.

I have it on good authority from a former close Lott staffer that he lost his fire for the job when his very close friend Paul Coverdell died. He told me he has never been the same. I agree it is time for Lott to step aside, we need a strong leader.

This is premature. Nobody is going to challenge Lott's leadership until the Republicans regain the Senate (a medium-sized 'IF' at this point). It would look bad for Nickels to break ranks during the campaign.

Besides, nobody shows disloyalty until they think that they have the votes nailed down within the caucus.

That does not explain mishandling and derailment of the Klinton Impeachment trial.
