It's interesting that Minnisota voters are so discusted that Walter Mondale's poll numbers are now almost double digit to Coleman's
Probably too much to hope that Republicans had a chance in Minnisota...

I saw Jesse "The Bod" say that he might apppoint some independent citizen off the street to be senator in Wellstone's place.now. don't underestimate the importance of this. imagine how many judges could get confirmed in a lame-duck session with a republican majority. which there would be (given cheney as tiebreaker) if ventura goes ahead with this. and suddenlt jumpin' jim becomes the invisible man he deserves to be.

That was a poll taken before the memorial rally. And I think there was some problems in how it was skewed.
