I am confused... the GOP internal tracking poll the night before the "memorial" showed Mondale up by 2... so now Mondale is up by 1 in this same tracking poll... and this is supposed to prove a massive backlash?

ambrose-read again. 7 point Mondale lead gone after the rally, er, memorial.

Dales- you're probably right about MN. The absentee fiasco may do the job. Here's hoping...

I am confused

Not only that you just proved you can't read.

Mondale was up by on saturday. But by the night of the memorial service he had risen to an 8 point lead.

The story says that the memorial he fell by 7 points to give Mondale a one point lead.

No....the massive backlash is that the first poll was two..then starting on Monday, the internal poll showed him up 7. After Tuesday night's event, it shifted dramatically down 7 points.
