Ads in the governor's race have turned into a frenzied mea culpa competition. It's surreal to watch Gov. Gray Davis and challenger Bill Simon engage in a game of what can only be called one-downmanship.

To the media, the camera has only a one way lens. Unfortunately , that prevents it from portraying reality and being blinded by their own bias.

... "I may not be qualified and my campaign is a disaster, but at least I'm human, and I won't put state government up for sale, and that's more than you can say about my opponent" ...

Who was Governor as this state suffered massive budget deficits, massine increases in govt spending, and still found time to spend more time raising campaign funds then any other public official in this nation's history?

No, this is not a trick question!

We need new leadership across the board in Sacramento.

I wish. It ain't street legal for a trip like that. Strictly a farm truck with only the occasional quick semi-clandestine trip to town.

The hydraulics leak. I promise, it would be an embarassment. One quick run down the main drag of Scotts Valley on election day is as far as I will take it.
