According to a longtime Washington political insider, word from Minnesota is that Walter Mondale last spring commissioned private polls to determine how well he'd do in a primary against Sen. Paul Wellstone.

Hmmm...my original tin-foil hat theory was that left-wing columnist and sheep-molester Ted Rall sabotaged Paul Wellstone's plane in order to frame President Bush at the behest of Hollywood liberal Barbra Streisand who was in turn was acting on orders from a cabal of lesbian radic-lib interior decorators controlled by none other than the Red Queen herself, Hillary Clinton. All in attempt to win the love of Cuban dictator Fidel Castrol, who she has cloned in a secret DNC labratory. This new evidence suggest that Fritz Mondale may have acted alone.

Hey freeps, I went to the poles this morning in St. Paul, my district is heavy Dem and the line was as long as I have ever seen before, but then I took my kid to school in heavy Rep Mendota Hieghts, poles looked very busy there too, this is going to be a tight race! go Norm!

Well woofer, I'll tell you this downtown St. Paul used to be the butt of local jokes about ghost town, how they rolled up the streets at 8 then Coleman ran as a conservative dem against a dem cant remember his name but he was friends with terrorist Kathlene Solia(thats not a joke its true)any way to make a long story short Norm defects to Rep party because he didnt want to celabrate gay, lez, bi and trans day brings NHL and software co. to town gets 2dn term, downtown is hopping, property values are way up all over city. then he loses Gov bid to you know who. do you want any more detials let me know . p.s. his wife is hot !

Kewl! Last I lived in St. Paul (Snelling and Ford) he was running, I think for his first shot as mayor (1991), but he had served on the City Council I believe. He was a cool guy then, as opposed to my councilwoman, Paula MacAbee (of Paul and Paula one hit wonder fame). Thanks for the answer and superflorous info.
