Maryland only had sign in Spanish at my poll

Sorry for the vanity, but, I was wondering if I am required to be able to read Spanish to be able to properly vote in Maryland?

This morning I went to my polling place, fought past the annouing liberals trying to force their material on me, and walked up to the first table to get my voting card. On that table was a sign, green paper with 1" high black paper, about 2 feet by 1 foot, with somewhere around 7 lines of text on it. It was all in Spanish. I asked the woman behind the table if there was a similar sigh in English and she said no. I have no idea what it said but I now feel disenfranchised because I can't read and/or speak Spanish at my polling place. Seems like some sort of liberal fraud happening in Maryland to me.

Hmmmm... those words look slightly familiar. What really bugs me it that this was the ONLY sign on the main table where you had to stand in line to pick up your voter card. No signs in English. No "companion" sign in English...

I think you should complain to the election board. Shouldn't they be responsible for what goes on (or not) in the polling place?

If you really want to do something positive, go back to the polling place, take a picture of the sign, and post it here on Free Republic.

Here in california, there were many non-english voter guide books available at the polling place, but none in english! I observed this at 7:30am, and the superviser told me they had "run out" of english versions.

However, many of the people entering the polls had voter guide book in hand.

Great idea about taking a pic of that sign.

Do they allow pictures in a voting place? I sure hope so!

That's nothing.

On Fifth Avenue, five minutes north of where Jackie O used to live, I only had a sign in KOREAN!

This is sad. In New Mexico (another RAT haven) the spanish have been here since 1598, and there was no shortage of english instructions or signs at my polling place.
Although I am proud to have been born on the Eastern Shore, I'm glad I left Maryland.

Jim Crow strikes back? Sounds like the reading comprehension test has returned to some polls.
