"This could not have turned out worse for Jeb Bush. It reminds everybody about how Al Gore was robbed in the last presidential election. This is the governor's responsibility."

"Jeb is gone!" is McAuliffe's battle cry. "There won't be anything as devastating to President Bush as his brother's losing in Florida."

The Democrat national party will be dropping money bombs and mobilizing an army of campaign workers to help defeat the president's brother Gov. Jeb Bush and propel Democrat Bill McBride into the Florida governor's mansion, vows Terry McAuliffe, the Democrat national chairman.

The Dems never figured out how to convince people who appreciate the good work Gov Bush has done as governor that this is all a mirage. And, the Dems never bothered to develop a comprehensive platform with new or better ideas. In short, the Dems didn't do their homework in FL. To me, it sounded a lot like: "The dog ate my homework." They deserve to lose this election in a big way.
