The biggest immediate concern under the new Republican Senate power structure is the absence of a balance of power, Daschle said.

Help me out here -- was he bothered by that before last night?

Reality check, Tom-Tom!

Looks like Al Bundy just measured him for a size 4-1/2 wingtip!

Senator Tom Daschle (D-SD) is pictured soon after he reportedly launched into a tyrade shouting at all those around him at a Democratic Party election night bash, "DID YOU SEE THAT, HE DOUBLE DIPPED THE CHIP! YOU CAN'T DOUBLE DIP THE CHIP, DON'T YOU KNOW HOW DISGUSTING THAT IS????!!!???? I'M STILL THE MAJORITY LEADER TONIGHT DAMMIT!".

Later, a friend brought him a coke.

In some ways it is more important now that I do it,” he said.

Nothing you do now is important, asswipe!

Somebody ought to tell Tommy to take off the black lift shoes, they don't help.

During the day Tuesday, Daschle made a point of talking to all the Democratic candidates battling for Senate seats. Most of them lost.

The day after phone calls would be interesting to read.

They were all optimistic that they were going to win. What happened was a surprise. I didn't see it coming, he said.

Don't walk out on a freeway at night, Tommy, you wouldn't have a clue as to that result also.

In hindsight Daschle said he wouldn?t change the party's strategy.

Thank you.

We had wonderful candidates, good resources.

Yes, hauling out the moribund Mondale and laughing at Wellstones' funeral was a great idea.

It just wasn't our night

Try holding the elections on Halloween.

He said he accepts responsibility for the losses.

Let the show trials begin.

He has said he will explore three options, including seeking re-election, running for president or retiring.

I'll bet he runs for President in 2004, loses and withers away to become a TV Hack, ala George Step-on-all-of-us.The pain 'The Dass' must've felt going to sleep last night, was probably impossible to measure. That is a fact I mentioned to my friends last night as we soaked it all up,laughing in dis-belief at this horrible human and his ugly actions of the past 2 years. You earned the right to lose like this Tommy!

“I can’t think of anything we would have done differently. I wouldn’t change anything,” he said. “We had wonderful candidates, good resources. It just wasn’t our night He said he accepts responsibility for the losses.

Hint: Next time you're at a funeral, act like you're at a funeral.

I think it would be fun for millions of citizens to mail him baby pacifiers and sugar-tits.

I just gotta ask, what is a sugar-tit? Is it a New Mexico thang?

Maybe it's a southern thing--my mother was born and raised in Texas--actually was "poh what trash" picking cotton alongside blacks when she was 6 years old to help keep her dad from going to prison for getting a loan on cattle he didn't have during the depression to help feed his family.

Anyway--you didn't ask about all that did you!

It's about a teaspoon of sugar in the corner of a handkercheif made by folding it & probably tying it for a baby to suck on and hopefully become quieter.

Anything to shut Dashole up!

Hmmmm.... must be in the genes. ;>) Too bad Dad can't appreciate our rapier-like wits...

Last night was sweet. There were a lot of reasons for this stunning outcome, and they all speak well of the voters who recognized what's beem going on. I like to think that there is a huge Clinton/McAuliffe backlash, and the awakening of many eyes to Democratic shenanigans and disregard for the law.

Brickbats to the idiots in New Jersey who elected Lautenberg -- the clip Rush played today of him virtually defines "doddering" and "incoherent." Priceless.
