Not to say we didn't do some pretty damfool things as kids, or at least my contemporaries did. I, of course, was a little angel and don't believe a word my brother and sisters say. Or my parole officer either.
How come beautiful young girls with perfect bodies never do these damfool things? :-)
Kind of off-topic but speaking of consequences...
Did you see the thread about the father sueing because his son didn't win a MVP award?
Croteau said his son was "so hurt and damaged" after losing the awards in front of 250 people that night he came home and shoved his hockey equipment into a corner, saying he had no interest in playing again.
"He was so sure of himself he took $50 of his own money to buy a nice shirt and tie to look good that night," he said. "And he was just humiliated."

Here's what's really funny... the kid was humilated when he lost, but thanks to his dear old dad, he's REALLY humiliated now. This morning I clicked on Fox & Friends and they were just having a blast with this story, laughing at this kid who now "has no interest in playing again", oh boo-hoo and all that, just like the replies on the thread. If he (or rather his father) had been a gracious loser, they wouldn't be mocked on NATIONAL TV, lol. Bet it was the talk of the town.
