DEMISE OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY
Fiedor Report On the News #295 ^ | 11-10-02 | Doug Fiedor

Okay, celebration's over. Now it's time to get serious. Republicans did good. That's true. But they had help from some very unexpected quarters.

Any victory message from the Republican National Committee should certainly attribute at least part of the GOP's success to the Clintons. After all, Hillary's wicked divisiveness raised many eyebrows these past few weeks. Still, she's just a bit player in this.

One very interesting part of the story is quite subtle to most of us: Democrats actually allowed the disgraced Bill Clinton to go out and campaign for candidates. But, the soccer moms who once supported Clinton now reject him. That's because, today, these very same soccer moms find themselves trying to explain to their kids that, "no, just because Bill Clinton did it with interns and others in the Oval Office DOES NOT mean it is acceptable for you in junior high and high school."

Later, Dubya meandered into town to campaign for GOP candidates.

Can we talk contrast here. . . . ? If the moms of the nation have to pick one for their kids to emulate, there seems to be an obvious choice. Both men, of course are the leaders and focal points of their respective parties. They are, in fact, sent forth as the instant representative of the ideals their party.

George Bush comes off looking like a nice guy, someone we would really like to know. When Bill Clinton comes to town, men want to hide their womenfolk and soccer moms their teenage daughters.

Is that an exaggeration? Which man would you feel proudest inviting to a family dinner? Easy choice, eh? Now comes Terry McAuliffe, the Clinton's hand-picked chairman of the Democratic National Committee. Like Bill and Hillary Clinton, one cannot even look at McAuliffe without thinking of synonyms for sleaze. One of McAuliffe's duties was to express the Clinton's hate for Dubya, in particular, and the Bush family in general. He tried to infest that hate in others, but failed. Instead, he came off looking like the jerk he is.

Because of all the mistakes, failures, professed indignation for the establishment, and refusal to follow orders, McAuliffe and the Clinton cabal will soon be frozen out of the Democratic leadership. That process has already begun, but it probably will not be obvious publicly for a few weeks.

What few people realize is that the Democratic Party is not a monolithic organization. We never see the Inner Party leadership -- of which the Clintons, Lieberman and McAuliffe were just on the periphery. The real Party leadership do not show up at meetings, only provide "suggestions" for overall policy. These are the real limousine liberals people talk about but can never identify. Even so, after close scrutiny, their names can usually be found on many Democratic Party campaign donation lists.

The Outer Party leadership of the Democratic Party are the people we know -- the indignant ones paid to make news. Most of them, including politicians, became wealthy simply because they were obedient Party members.

Following the Outer Party leadership are various levels of functionaries and the Democratic Party's vast array of professional media sycophants. This group is easy to control because many are unknowingly directed by both the Inner Party and the Outer Party leaders. Quite often, their career (paycheck) requires they follow the Party line perfectly.

Then comes the proletariat. This is where the DNC is currently having a real problem.

Let's face it, today's blue-collar workers are much better educated than workers once were. So, when the Party leadership try using their perverted propaganda to defeat logic, people notice. Sure, most of the proletariat still believe some of the Democratic Party's carefully constructed lies. The problem is, many also simultaneously hold more logical opinions, which tend to cancel out the socialist propaganda. At the moment, a significant subset of this group actually believe both contradictory opinions and so are currently confused as to what to do about that dichotomy.

Today, many of the DNC's expressed positions are actually ideologically offensive to folks the Party once classed as the unthinking proletariat. To some, it seems as if the Party wants them to even reject evidence that is perfectly obvious to them in everyday life. The socialist fight against individualism and eccentricity immediately comes to mind. The constant attack on religion and respected institutions like the Boy Scouts is also causing the proletariat to consider the Republican Party.

Therefore, we see a constant influx of new Republican voters.

You and me both, fellow Freeper. I have more reasons to live than politics, but the rejection of the Democratic Party with their lies and perversions gives me a reason to have hope for the future of this country.

The Democratic Party would be extinct without the nightly news of NBC/CBS/ABC

I was a active member of the Democratic Party since 1968. I volunteered to work for Bobby Kennedy when he ran for President and won the California pimary. I have voted nearly a straight Republican ticket since Clinton created voter outrage by his military policy of "don't ask don't tell."

The party of Clinton is not the same Dmocratic Party that I joined more than 33 years ago. It is party the permits and encouages the solicitation of bribes ("Chinagate") and encorages treason. Lying, coercion of witnesses, andcover-ups are Stadanrd Operating Procedure. Party old timers are rolling in their graves .....

Clinton should be arrested and tried for treason. Pelosi is a good choice. The Democrats will rally behind her. And march leftward happily onto the trash heap of history.

Let the DemonRATS commit political suicide ...... who give a RATS'@ass?

Since I no longer watch ABC, did Peter Jennings say that voters had another temper tantrum or some other excuse?

The alpha bet soups are going broke. Nobody believes them any more. This is sounding great. Only Fox has any credibility.

I grew up in a very liberal McGovern Voting household.

My wife and I proudly vote REPUBLICAN.

ABC/CBS/NBC/CNN are like the deomcratic party. They bring out the same old message, with the same old tired worn out prompt readers Dan Brokenjaw, Tom Yawn, and Peter I am to old and liberal to know the truth Jennings. Hardly anyone is listening to them -- except a few elderly liberals.

It has been more than eight months since I have watched a program -- news or non news on any of those tired worn out networks.

We tune into Fox with Bill O'Riley for news.

I am cheered by the thought that two years ago we were told we should be shaking in our boots because the Mighty McAwful was going to lead the democrats to victory. Yet, we've survived to see the Mighty fall, and to see Clinton's white head begin to blend into the mists of history.

Now our job is to spread the word to the clueless democrats that Hillary is a SOCIALIST who will (and has) lie and cheat to turn this wonderful country into another Castro's "paradise."

That about says it all doesn't it?

Until Lyndon Johnson democrats were people of moral substance. The Unions were needed, the workers were exploited. The poor, needy, elderly, sick were in need of championing. Segregation needed to be ended and it was through bipartisan leadership that is was. The very men who champion equality between races are the perveyors of engineered discrimination.

But the battles have been fought and mostly won. The fight the democrats continue to wage is a fight with shadows.

There will always be the poor and needy, and no nation has done more to take care of it's citizens.

Financial equality will never exist because if you gave $10,000.00 to everyone, in short order some would have it all and others would be broke. It is the way of the world.
Not everyone is good at making money, or even hanging on to it.

It wasn't until Jimmy Carter and Bill CLinton that the democrats were goaded into such a hate mongering destructive and immoral group of people. Their legacy will take time to undo, because it became the fabric of the party. It seeped into every facet of American life.

Finally it is being exposed and slowly defeated. That is what this President, his election and the 2002 elections are all about. People want decency back.

Let me get this straight. You want the Dems to disappear so that we can have *ONE* party? A one party system? Do you realize what the consequences of that would be?

Um... I don't think that ANYONE here is advocating a one party system...

The fall of the Dems would lead to the rise of another 2nd party that is less socialist in its policies...

Personally, I would like to see third and fourth party candidates garnering more of the democrat votes. The debates would be stimulating and informative, without the lies and demagoguery so prevalent now from the democrats.
