God what an embarrassment to my network. I wish he would retire and let journalism return to PBS.
Think of him as the Rush of the Left. Only Rush keeps his head clear when he does his reporting.

End PBS!!!! Except for the Antique Road Show.

What else do you expect of empty suits who have been exposed & now have nowhere to go. Some are seeing the results of their empty propaganda & possibly their empty lives. And they are mad. Logic & reason will win in the final shakeout. Thank you God!

That mandate includes the power of the state to force pregnant women to give up control over their own lives. Notice how this one always seems to top the list? Shows what's truly important to them.

"
It includes using the taxing power to transfer wealth from working people to the rich." - Bill Moyers of PBS
Bill Moyers is right. In America we will continue to tax the working people and redistribute that wealth to the rich (such as taxpayer funded PBSs) Bill Moyers and I don't see the GOP having the spine to end this.

Here's my "Feedback" emailed to Mr. Moyers (and PBS):
I think Bill Moyers' commentary is amazing... Not "good" amazing -- not even "crazy" amazing. "Amazingly Ridiculous!" That's the term I'm searching for.
Every one of your major points (the "horrors of GOP control!") is a gross exaggeration -- typical fear-mongering that you liberals have been trying to foist on the American public for decades. I don't recall conservatives making this kind of "Commentary" (on PBS or elsewhere) when Jimmy Carter and the Democrats controlled everything... in retrospect, let's all consider how scary that notion is!
Maybe this election reflects that the fear tactic is starting to wear thin. You better worry if people really start digging into policy issues and realizing the Ponzi-schemes you all have been promoting for 70 years and how the real world works. Mr. Moyers has been a pathetic apologist for the left as long as I can remember -- which goes back to the weak and feeble Carter Administration which I now "fondly" remember.
Welcome to the real world, Mr. Moyers. I would appreciate it if you would cease using Public Tax Money (via PBS) to promote the vile propaganda that you love to disseminate (taking from "me" and using for the "oppressed"). No, I'm not talking about PBS contributions -- I ceased supporting that organization about the time you got on board that gravy train.

Well, we had The AntiChrist, False Prophet and lesser demons controlling the White House and Congress for a while so consider this "equal time."

Moyers screed pretty much speaks for itself. I got a good belly laugh reading it.
The only point I would add is that with every day that goes by with the GOP as the governing party when the Jews are not forced to convert to Christianity, the black are not re-enslaved, the gays are not rounded into concentration camps, etc etc.... it become more and more difficult for hate-mongers like Moyers to scare their constituencies. And one by one people start using their brains and opening their eyes and joining us.
What a great time to be alive!!

This yutz and PBS are prime examples of why the Republicans need to defund PBS, MPR, The Legal Services Corporation and all of the other lefty feeding troughs where they gather and oink. Without these exclusive venues to propagandize from, they'll be forced to rely exclusively on their publications like the Nation, Ramparts, Mother Jones, etc. and the already biased and sullied mainstream media. Seems to me that careful thinning is a good policy in forests, budgets and media outlets alike.

Bill Moyers. The man who made LBJ a household word. Until then "Waddastupidsonofabitch" was not widely used.

I dunno...a search of the Corporation For Public Broadcasting's website shows only a single program about schools with Bill Moyers, back in 1996, funded by public money (about $223,000). I know that most, if not all the money he makes comes from other source.I know Moyers owns his own production company, and I think the main, if not only customer for shows producted by his company is PBS. I don't know if they've done any programs for PBS without Moyers as the host.

To Bill Moyers by way of "Dallas".
...is united behind a right-wing agenda for which George W. Bush believes he now has a mandate.
Yes Bill, you lying commie b*st*rd, the ghost of Barry Goldwater, like Marleys, has come home to haunt your collective little heart.
I was one of Barry's Boys, so I know well your ilk. The mushroom cloud of fear you used against Goldwater came back to haunt your kind in the billowing dust of the WTC. I hope you realize Moyers, that some of us knew in '64, that you and LBJ were willing to sacrifice young Americans on the alter of the '68 election. Those of us that made it through, carry the burden of the retribution that you owe to the patriotic, the conscripted, the injured, the disabeled and the walking wounded.
The wronged souls of Barry's Legions await your arrival, Bill.

Heady talk from a drunk driver. What a pompous jackass!

hey, why can't we start a Freep campaign to get Moyers kicked off the PBS taxpayer's teat??

I followed Drudge's link to the PBS rant by Mr Moyers ("NOW") and gave them some 'restrained' feedback:
"Some broadcaster the public have funded that spits extremist left views against the extremist right views: this guy is the flipside of Rush L. Ultra-radical rants from either side of the idiotological divide should be subject to quality control if PBS-NPR ever wants my respect. Cull the demogogues. This guy's conspiracy rant belongs in the Green Weekly. Maybe he's a member of the Greens. If he feels so alienated by the central parties too bad, but at least he should declare that he is a extreme leftist.
It says a lot about PBR's producers and editors I suppose. Ahh, government employees..."
