Uh, I'm puzzled. If you weren't trying to draw attention to the "diversity" angle, why DID you post this article? Surely you're erudite enough to understand that "diversity" is simply a liberal code word for "anti-white, -hetero, -male, -Christian bigotry."

Funny, I didn't think that when I read the article. Differnet strokes for different folks.

The company I work for switched to Merrill-Lynch to "manage" our 401K funds. Merrill-Lynch couldn't manage my kid's piggy bank. They suck! Our losses per quater on our statements is much worse that the stock market losses for the same period. They should be shut down for pretending to be a brokerage firm.

I hope to work for Goldman, or Lehman or Merril.

I'll stay away from CSFD First Boston though.

I would have put HP higher on the diversity list. I worked for them ...

I also worked for HP. The company is still trading on the reputation it built in the 1970s -- but that HP is long gone. And that's why I am, too!

So if minorities simply WANT to work for a company, it is considered "diverse"?

Words apparently mean nothing to journalists.

You oughta get that jerking knee looked at. Could be Parkinson's.

Only after you wipe that footprint of yours off yer own forehead.

Snidely

Charming image, but I'm afraid it's been years since I've been able to get my foot anywhere near there. I see you're a bit more flexible, but be warned that frequent insertion of one's head there might ultimately result in the need for Depends undergarments.

This survey has nothing to do with reality; it merely measures the employment fantasies of black college students.

But then, since diversity is all about black fantasies, I guess this survey is acceptable as a scientific instrument.

Read the article, it's not about affirmitive action, it's about who the students like best to work for. No comment on the obvious racism.

I read the "article"; its title is, "The Top 50 Diversity Employers ..." To say "it's not about affirmative action" is tantamount to saying of a certain men's room fixture, "It's a pissoir, not a urinal!"

They hire based on color >and sexual orientation< and not on performance.

Let's create a rainbow of diversity!
