The above came from the link - I'm not sure I believe this. If these nuclear heads were placed here prior to Sept 11, then I would think they would have already been detonated.

This from the same outfit who keeps trotting out counterfeit tapes and articles to try and prove bin Laden is alive. If Al Queda had a nuke in the U.S., they would have detonated it, or at least threatened to detonate it, when we went after them in Afghanistan. So IMO this claim is pure Barbra Steisand.

The primary use of nuclear weapons is for deterrence. Al Queda was in some serious need of deterrance after 9/11, when they were getting pounded like a cheap cutlet in Afghanistan. Didn't happen.

i would think hidden nuclear bombs needs some maintenance on a regular schedule
By people technical enough to keep them operational. I thought that the radiation put out by these warheads tear down the electrical support systems.
So in a nut shell, I don't believe it would work,
or should I say I pray they don't work,
maybe someone with Nuke background could elaborate......

I'm not buying the story, really, but I totally disagree with the idea that they would do the worst first.

I guess you don't really hate anyone and haven't hated them for a long time.

It is immature strategy to just crush you hated opponent
as revenge. It should be as long and drawn out and incremental as possible, in order to savor the sweet juices of vengeance. You want them to be shocked, then recover a bit, then slammed again, each time letting them get back up a little bit, then stomping them a bit harder each time.

To just blow us up all at once would be weak, in their eyes.

I totally disagree with the idea that they would do the worst first.

They could have told the U.S. when they were getting attacked in Afghanistan that they would detonate a nuke if the U.S. did not stop. They didn't. IMO, that is a de facto indication that the did not have this capability.

They didn't enter this war with the US expecting limited casualties....... IMHO, the only way to demonstrate their new power is to absorb our best and then strike back.

This has been the M.O. of Al Queda and Osama from the beginning. Strike hard, fade back, then repeat....

You don't believe that Cheney is at his separate "undisclosed place" because of a truck bomb or a "dirty nuke" ?

Or that plans were drawn for the Congress to survive because of the above?

Once we hit Iraq, expect the Jihadists (including Iraq & Iran) to throw everything they've got at us. Every dirty nuke, suicide bomber, mad gunman, truck bomb, biological, and purchased or manufactured nuclear device in their arsenal........

If we don't hit them, we're going to get hit....When we do hit them, we're going to get hit sooner.

To them, the retribution is a small price to pay for parity or dominance on the world stage.......

All I am saying is someone has gone to a great deal of thought on this.....just keep an open mind.

We have always suspected another shoe was going drop after 9/11 ....maybe we rolled up the next wave when the FBI swept the country.

We will never know how many escaped that net and what their orders were.....so just don't dismiss anything out of hand is all I'm saying.
