I wish the best to the GOP and wish they would do something in SD, too

Can't believe Rush actually floated the notion that maybe it'd be a good idea to not go hard-charging after this seat so as not to appear as if we're "attacking a woman" or getting "too greedy."

Limbaugh said that?

That's silly. Terrell is a woman as well. How could this be seen as "picking on the girl?"

Not that the media wouldn't try

I didn't know Clinton was going to win in 1992. My point is that the Reps won by such a sweep, and the press on the Dems has been so bad since, that those somewhat on the fence will vote Rep. Just my opinion.

The dems are stunned right now but don't expect that to last. The extreme libs are taking over, Pelosi et al. All sorts of thing are going to happen now (with the press in tow) homelessness will skyrocket, old people will be dying from lack of care and every piece of economic news that is bad will be greatly highlighted. The dems have perfected this approach since the '50's and will now exploit it for all it's worth.

The LA race is of supreme importance.

The GOP is just one Coverdell or one Carnahan/Wellstone (God forbid) away from even steven. Having Terrell in there is good insurance.

If Terrell wins, I'll be doing this nasty little tap-dance, singing "n'yah, n'yah," and will be generally insufferable to be around.

You made my day with that quip, man!

Problem is though, the LA GOP is too busy fighting amongst themselves.

Why do you think the dead are burried above ground in New Orleans?

So the dead dems can get to the pols easier of course.

There was a similar election for US Senator in Georgia in 1992. Neither Paul Coverdale nor Wyche Fowler obtained 50% in the general election, and Fowler was an incumbent Senator that year. In the runoff, Coverdale won. (The Georgia Dems immediately repealed that law after Coverdale's victory). Therefore, if turnout in this runoff is normal, Terrell stands a good chance of winning this seat.

All of you Louisiana Republicans ask like-minded friends, on election day, to vote for Terrell. Every vote will count. It was pouring down rain on Nov 5th in Georgia, so take an umbrella with you, just in case. There is no excuse not to vote for Terrell. We need every GOP vote we can get in DC!!!
