My brother in law is former military police.

Sounds like you do have someone on the "inside" to help matters a bit. My suggestion, since this sounds like a carjacking and ATM scam, is to find out how to get the word out among the TRUCK DRIVERS in the area. They can pass the word quickly, are often more than willing to help, and would be the ones to spot the car on the road. My prayers for those involved.

Thank you, Alexandria; excellent suggestion.

[Re: This is a real long shot...but is there a way you can find out what numbers she did punch in when using the wrong pin number? DH said he knew of a case where a person was forced to use their card and deliberately put in the wrong pin numbers to flag the system AND they also spelled something out with the numbers they did choose. Took a bit to figure out but this individual had put in a location they were being forced to drive to.]

I passed that along to bro in law."

Her hubbie doesn't keep a leash on her so she is free to come and go as she pleases AND she KNOWS there is no money in the savings account to access, yet she tried to access it with the wrong pin number, and then with the right one.

Nothing is making sense to indicate that she needed space. "
