Man arrested for murder, dismemberment

LEE COUNTY, November 18, 2002 — Deputies have arrested a Lehigh Acres man for the murder of 35-year-old Oscar Melendez Tolbert, whose dismembered body was discovered by workers at a Fort Myers recycling center on Friday.

William Andrew Ware, 45, of 1004 Arthur Avenue South, was taken into custody Monday on charges of First Degree Murder.

Investigators were called to Florida Recycling Services on Arcadia Street Friday afternoon when workers sifting through plastic bags of yard waste found body parts in one of the bags
