Saw this same story recently on the news. Regardless of what your view on Christianity is, the story was un-nerving just for the UN manipulation of religion under its auspices.
This conference was clear in stating to all that if the UN deemed your religion divisive, or "non-inclusive", you were outside the pale. Thus Christ was not wanted.

Maginnis says it appears the hidden agenda is to unite people under one religious umbrella so they will peacefully accept the UN's radical political goals.
The world doesn't really have much to worry about from the likes of Rev. Brown Campbell or Shirley MacLain.

Perhaps better to remain isolated from the event. Over a thirs of Scripture is dedicated to Prophecy and the major event foretold regards the great Tribulation, while doctrine from Daniel and Revelations leads to acknowledge a Revived Roman Empire at that time. A great apostasy or falling away will is recognized and the falls of Satan are all characterized by Perfect Environment.
On these notes, the major themes of the conference all fail.

So rather than promoting tolerance of thought, let's instead promote homogeneity of thought.
Even if they oppose or lack the stomach for the butchery necessary for totalitarianism, it is nice to know that they at least agree with its goals.
