AUGUSTA, Maine (AP) In the midst of a ballot recount that will determine control of the state Senate, Republicans asked a court to force disputed ballots to be included in the tally.
At last count, Democrat Christopher Hall led Republican opponent Leslie Fossel by nine votes, widening his unofficial election day lead of two votes.

The Good Lord only knows. All the years Maine has been doing the Election Process, now all of a sudden there are discrepancies??? Something doesn't sound right to me. Why are the DemocRATS screaming now? The Maine Election Process has been just fine up until now. I guess they can't stand losing.
The votes were always counted before, right? What makes THIS Election any different! Your right: because the votes aren't going for the DemocRATS. ugh!
