So, he'll appoint lawyers who will support encroachments on the 4th amendment. So called "law and order" Judges who don't see anything wrong with random checkpoints and other such nonsense. He might find a judge who is less friendly regarding the abortion issue but in general he's looking for lawyers who share his opinions. The only way we'll ever get strict constitutionalists in the courts is to get rid of the democrats AND republicans in office. By the way, thank you for having such an open mind and friendly demeanor. This was a nice conversation in spite of my own crankiness :)

At any rate, I have to agree with you and Ben Franklin (insert quote about anyone giving up their liberty to get safety deserve neither). This is something we will have to watch, particularly since we don't know who will be President next, and another beastmaster like Clinton could run the country into the ground with unrestricted powers.

This guy is a complete moron. And to top it all off...HE HAS JUST DESCRIBED THE LEFT WING MEDIA STRATEGY FOR THE PAST 40 YEARS!!! I wonder if he will now get in trouble w/ the DNC et al. for divulging their secret strategy!?!? Not the part about the talk show chatter, but the part about putting a story out in a way that suggests what public opinion shuld be and then polling.
