You gotta wonder of the degree to which gore actually believes what he said above and doesn't realize that fox/wt/whoever are the small exception to a virtual lockhold of ideas in print and tv news by the democrats. Fox news for the first time has given the gop a way to get their ideas aired at all on national tv.

The only way Gore is ever going to receive a significant number of votes is via public sympathy. Look for the rats to stage an Al Gore "Small, Frail Aircraft Tour '04" sometime for next election. Then the Hildebeast can step in. Campaign finance won't permit media challanges if it's 60 days for the election.

Algore has bigger problems than us. Sorry but if he's trying to look for sympathy here, he's looking in the wrong quarters. And even if we were partial towards him as one human being to another, he still has yet to show he can bond with normal people. Right now the Gorebatross' single biggest problem isn't the New Media or us, its himself and more importantly his fellow liberals are starting to catch on. In short whatever he has in the way of defining who he is, the Presidency is too important a job to be turned into his National Therapeutic Couch. Right now we should all pray a sigh of relief that man just didn't make the grade back in 2000.

You know, I've decided that Gore, Daschle, etc. have completely lost sight of who the enemies to this country are. They are small people who apparently thing Americans give a rats behind about their puny little political lives, losses, and whines, in light of the significant things going on in the world. Once again, they display their selfish endeavors during a time of war. How un-American.

Hard to imagine that this narcissistic bunch doesn't look in a mirror though so I guess they only see what they want to see.

It's funny how Democrats accuse Republicans of things they are experts at themselves.

PROJECTION:

(definition from DSM-IV, a standard psychiatric reference) "Falsely attributing to another his or her own unacceptable feelings, impulses, or thoughts."

If this were not a carefully scripted Democratic National Committee campaign, I would say it is time to raise the dose of the medications that Al Gore is so obviously taking.

Mr. Gore acknowledged his image problem among powerful Democrats, and that the onus will be upon him to recapture the loyalties of those who supported him in 2000. "Maybe I bear the blame for some of it," he said. "I haven’t been very good about calling all of the insiders over the last two years, and maybe some of them have a beef with me because of that.

I don't know about the rest of the country but I do know that the Palm Beach Demmycrats were pissed off bigtime at Algore because he NEVER called to thank them for their efforts to steal the election for him.

I had to go look up that high faulting word 'zeitgeist' Algorebatross used as I'd never heard it before. Here is what I found at Dictionary.com.

I find this very amusing. The Washington Times has a rather small circulation in comparasion to the Post. Also, FNC is, still, just a cable channel with a limited audience, and Rush has what--30 million listeners tops? Mostly of the already converted?

This coordinated attack is curious.

Profile of a Sociopath

A number of cult leaders may exhibit many of the behavioral characteristics of a sociopath--an outstanding ability to charm and seduce followers. Since they appear apparently normal, they are not easily recognizable as deviant or disturbed. Although only a trained professional can make a diagnosis, it is important to be able to recognize the personality type in order to avoid further abuse. These traits also apply to a one-on-one cultic relationship.

Glibness/Superficial Charm
Language can be used without effort by them to confuse and convince their audience. Captivating storytellers that exude self-confidence, they can spin a web that intrigues others. Since they are persuasive, they have the capacity to destroy their critics verbally or emotionally.

</td msimagelist>

Manipulative and Conning
They never recognize the rights of others and see their self-serving behaviors permissible. They appear to be charming, yet are covertly hostile and domineering, seeing their victim as merely an instrument to be used. He dominates and humiliates his victims.

</td msimagelist>

Grandiose Sense of Self
Feels entitled to certain things as "his right." Craves adulation and attendance. Must be the center of attention with his own fantasies as the "spokesman for God," "enlightened,"  "leader of humankind," etc. Creates an us-versus-them mentality

</td msimagelist>

Pathological Lying
Has no problem lying coolly and easily and it is almost impossible for them to be truthful on a consistent basis. Can create, and get caught up in, a complex belief about their own powers and abilities. Extremely convincing and able to pass lie detector tests.

</td msimagelist>

Lack of Remorse, Shame or Guilt
A deep seated rage, which is split off and repressed, is at his core. Does not see others around him as people, but only as targets and opportunities. Instead of friends, they have victims and accomplices who end up as victims. The end always justifies the means and they let nothing stand in their way.

</td msimagelist>

Shallow Emotions
When they show what seems to be warmth, joy, love and compassion it is more feigned than experienced and serves an ulterior motive. Outraged by insignificant matters, yet remaining unmoved and cold by what would upset a normal person. Since he is not genuine, neither are his promises.

</td msimagelist>

Incapacity for Love
While He talks about "God's love" he is unable to give or receive it. Since he does not believe in the geniuses of his followers' love, he is very harsh in testing it from his devotees and expects them to feel guilt for their failings. Expects unconditional surrender.

</td msimagelist>

Need for Stimulation
Living on the edge, yet testing the beliefs of their followers with bizarre rules, punishments and behaviors. Verbal outbursts and physical punishments are normal.

</td msimagelist>

Callousness/Lack of Empathy
Unable to emphasize with the pain of their victims, having only contempt for others' feelings of distress and readily taking advantage of them. Their skills are used to exploit, abuse and exert power. Since the follower cannot believe their leader would callously hurt them, they rationalize his behavior as necessary for their ( or the group's) own "good" and deny the abuse. When devotees become aware of the exploitation it feels like a "spiritual rape" to them.

</td msimagelist>

Poor Behavioral Controls/Impulsive Nature
Rage and abuse, alternating with small expressions of love and approval produce an addictive cycle for abuser and abused, as well as creating hopelessness in the victim. Believes he is all-powerful, all-knowing, entitled to every wish, no sense of personal boundaries, no concern for his impact on others. His followers only see him as near perfect.

</td msimagelist>

Early Behavior Problems/Juvenile Delinquency
Usually has a history of behavioral and academic difficulties, yet "gets by" by conning others. Problems in making and keeping friends; aberrant behaviors such as cruelty to people or animals, stealing, etc.

</td msimagelist>

Irresponsibility/Unreliability
Not concerning about wrecking others' lives and dreams. Oblivious or indifferent to the devastation they cause. Does not accept blame themselves, but blame their followers or others outside their group. Blame reinforces passivity and obedience and produces guilt, shame, terror and conformity in the followers.

</td msimagelist>

Promiscuous Sexual Behavior/Infidelity
Totalist leaders frequently practice promiscuity, child sexual abuse, rape and sexual acting out of all sorts. This is usually kept hidden from all but the inner circle. Stringent sexual control of their followers, such as forced breakups and divorces, removal of children from parents, rules for dating, etc.

</td msimagelist>

Lack of Realistic Life Plan/Parasitic Lifestyle
Tends to move around a lot or makes all encompassing promises for the future. Many groups claim as their goal world-domination or other utopian promises. Great contrast between the leader's opulent lifestyle and the followers' impoverishment. Support by gifts and donations from his followers who are pressured to give through fear and guilt. Highly sensitive to their own pain and health.

</td msimagelist>

Criminal or Entrepreneurial Versatility
Changes their image and that of the group as needed to avoid prosecution and to increase income and to recruit a range of members. Is able to adapt or relocate as needed to preserve the group. Can resurface later with a new name, a new front group and a new twist on the scam.

Other Related Qualities:
</td msimagelist> </table msimagelist>

  1. Contemptuous of those who seek to understand him

  2. Does not perceive that anything is wrong with him

  3. Authoritarian

  4. Secretive

  5. Paranoid

  6. Only rarely in difficulty with the law, but seeks out situations where his tyrannical behavior will be tolerated, condoned, or admired

  7. Conventional appearance

  8. Goal of enslavement of his victim(s)

  9. Exercises despotic control over every aspect of his victim's life

  10. Has an emotional need to justify his crimes and therefore needs his victim's affirmation (respect, gratitude and love)

  11. Ultimate goal is the creation of a willing victim

  12. Incapable of real human attachment to another

  13. Unable to feel remorse or guilt

  14. Extreme narcissism and grandiose

  15. May state readily that their goal is to rule the world

Al Gore reminds me of this autistic kid in my old Scout troop who didn't know how to react in any social situation. He had zero ability to read other people and adjust his behavior appropriately. You could tell him his puppy died and he would laugh, but if you offered him a candy bar he'd burst into tears. It was sad then and its sadder now.

Me thinks that he has has just revealed the standard operating procedure for the DNC, the major networks, and CNN. Being the consummate idiot that he is, Gore merely applied the model that he knows (and probably thinks he invented) to today's reality where Democrats occasionally have to face up to some criticism. (As opposed to the past where 99% of all media was their bought and paid-for cheering section.)
