They do mean it. There is a kind of peace they do want but they will tell you there will be peace only after all the world is "one" under the Koran and in submission to allah. They don't believe in peace the way we do and we need ro realize it.

They already tried to kill this Pope and they're still very angry about Spain getting it's freedom back from Islam. They think Spain still belongs to them and they intend to get it and much more back. They do intend to have the entire world under Sharia law.

Well, a priest once told me that persecution might be good for the church, but I'm certain this wasn't what he had in mind.

You know, we in the western world have been sleepwalking. There is was laid out for the past 20 years, Christians were focussing on y2k and other stuff, and we got a real rude awakening.

I don't know much about correct interpretation of bible prophecy, but it seems that they will make war against the saints and overcome them just before the end.

It may be Christ himself who finally conquers them at His second coming.

Thanks, I'll do a search on it. I recently read a good book on the excesses and dangers of Islam, "Sword of the Prophet: The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam" by Serge Trifkovic.

That's about right. I hate to say it but the Muslim cleric may be right. If current demographic trends hold Italians will be a minority in Italy by mid century and the fastest growing group in Italy are muslims. Their weapon is the womb.

Muslims moving to the west have just as high birth rates as they do in their native countries. As long as their women are allowed to be treated as chatel by their muslim husbands even in western countries the trend will continue.

NOW ought to be bitching and moaning how muslim women are treated instead of attacking the catholic church.
