You're right. In an ideal world, Pollard would not be in prison.
He'd be dead in the cemetary, along with his wife, and his nearest surviving relatives would have been billed for the bullets.
That's not all they should be billed for. Pollard sold us out for cash, not only from the Israelis but from the other countries he hawked our national security secrets to, including Middle Eastern ones. Mrs. Pollard is in possession of the proceeds from a criminal enterprise.
