After reading the Salt Lake Tribune's report of the SL Council meeting last night, I'm wondering if they were at the same meeeting. I thought Deedee Corradini was very effective, shutting Rocky Anderson right up, well, as much as one can shut him up. The reporters chose not to print a lot of the LDS church's side of the issue, and the people in support of them.

Personally, I do not think this is going to have a good ending. I'm almost to the point of having SLC give the church back its 8.1 million dollars, tear the Plaza down, and make it back into a street. There is going to be contention and bitterness over this issue, no matter which way it goes. I could have smacked Rev Goldsmith last night at the end, where he said that it was time for the bitterness to end, and let the healing begin by accepting Rocky Anderson's proposal. In his dreams...

"....will surely be smitten at last." Arrival in the realm of reality is a bummer -- one can only wonder if Rocky J. Squirrel is up to the challenge. Both in this world qnd the next.....
