Pope Babs?
Shades of the old Pope Joan 'libel'.

This WAY WAY WAY OVERDUE! Too little far far far too late... but I guess it is a baby step in the right direction.

My, my. I guess he did have a "little talk" on his recent trip to the Vatican.

Good, he would have a tough time serving his flock when he's doing jail time. He'll probably like it in jail.

About time. This news is a big relief for this Catholic.
I don't really appreciate some of the Catholic bashing that goes around on this site.
To: MinorityRepublican
? I haven't seen much. I'm not Catholic, but with this going on, I have nothing but sympathy for my fellow Catholics.
It's pretty obvious that Law ran the church like a business with respect to the abuse issue: he worried about paying $ to victims more than he worried about doing the right thing. To my lights, that pretty much means he wasn't true to the Church. So he should resign.

I love FR, but it comes with the territory. The priest-abuse scandal only accelerated it. But it was here before.
BTW, Law was never accused of personally abusing children. FYI.

What does VOTF stand for? Victims of the Faith?

VOTF= Voice of the Faithful, a group of lay Catholics who want married clergy, acceptance of homosexuals and all sorts of other apostacy.
Steer clear of them.

Thanks.
I've seen the letters on protestors' signs, but I thought they were trying to spell "VOTE."

The problem with saying Breaking News in the title is that after a while it isn't Breaking News anymore. Perhaps the software can be revised to strip out the term Breaking News after a few minutes when it isn't Breaking News anymore.
