But you might find interesting reading on some ADD chat boards or message boards sometimes. The story of "I'm absolutely against, etc..." changing to a "pro-medication" view is so common it's a cliche.
Many years ago, when my sister put my nephew on it I thought she had lost her mind - that had to be the stupidest thing she'd ever done in my opinion. But after seeing some of the results...
What did it for me, I think, was how much easier my nephew could play baseball, of all things. The former frustrated, sad, hopeless klutz now actually could catch the ball and participate. (I know I'm gonna catch hell for that last comment. Just trust me, it was more complicated than that. Really.)
