I use a Web Developer Accessory called "View Partial Source" which I got here (scroll down to the bottom of the page. Download software.).
Highlight the poll results, or whatever, right click (drops down menu), left click "View Partial Source" (pops up new window with the HTML format of the material you highlighted), hit Ctrl A (="Select All"), Hit CTRL C (="Cut"). You've now got the HTML code for the "poll results" on your clipboard.
Go back to the thread to which you wish to post and hit "Reply" to whomever. Left click as usual to get a cursor. Hit CTRL V (="Paste") and the HTML code should appear in the "Reply" box. "Preview" as usual and the code should appear as it did in the original poll results.
Thing one: right clicking on the highlighted material doesn't always pull down the short menu including "View Partial Source", rather it pulls down the regular long menu which begins with "Back". You may have to re-highlight or re-right click, or right click in a different spot on the page to get the "View Partial Source" menu. You'll get the hang of it with some practice.
Thing two: having cut and pasted the HTML code to the "Reply" box, when you "Preview" you may get some weird stuff because the source code may refer to other locations outside of the highlighted code. In which case, oh well, you gave it a shot!
Good luck!
