Clinton just can't stand not being in the center of ANY controversy, so he had to get out their with his big, fat mouth and transfer the attention from Lott! From Lott's foot in the mouth disease, to Clinton's "it's all about me" mania...

"Former President Clinton said Wednesday it is "pretty hypocritical" of Republicans to criticize incoming Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott for stating publicly what he said the GOP does "on the back roads every day." "

So, essentially what Bubba is saying is that all Republicans are racists. Didn't you kind of figure that that's where all of this was leading? Wasn't Clinton a member of a "whites-only" golf club when he was first elected President?

I don't know how we can believe a confirmed LIAR about anything! President Squirt wouldn't know the truth if it reared up and bit him in the ass. 'Pod

I wouldn't make the impeachment celebration a party. I'd make it a wake. The process ended in a sham, thanks to Traitor Lott.

If I were Trent Lott this would be my press release about the former President's remarks:

I find it amusing that the press still covers what former President Clinton has to say. However, I appreciate the opportunity to remain at the top of the headlines, thus freeing our current President, George W. Bush, to run this country without the usual kind of oversight provided by the press.

I think that would get an interesting reaction, don't you?

Shalom.

This from the Arkansas ex-Governor who had no problem celebrating "Confederate Flag Day"?

I'm sorry but I fail to see your point.

Meanwhile former Clinton political adviser and Democratic strategist James Carville said he accepted Lott's apology. Carville, also a co-host of CNN's "Crossfire," faxed a letter to Lott's office Wednesday in which he both accepted the senator's apology and pledged not to criticize him further for comments made recently or further in the past on the issue of race. Carville said his decision to send the letter was influenced at least in part by the comments of Democratic Rep. John Lewis of Georgia, a former civil rights leader, who accepted Lott's apology this week.

Translation:

"Damn, the Repubs will throw him overboard and we wont be able use it to scare the black vote - time to backpedal BIGTIME and SAVE LOTT'S ASS SO WE CAN REAM IT LATER."

I'm sorry but I fail to see your point.

You do?

On the one hand Sink is deriding all Repubs as being racists, while on the other he felt it ok to honor the Confederate flag with a state holiday while governor in Arkansas.

The Confederate flag is generally viewed by Leftists as a racist symbol (I don't hold that view, but the Left sure does).

IMPEACHED42
IS
NAUSEATING.
His comments anger me--and now I am even more motivated to give more to the GOP in 2003 than I did in 2002--me, a plain ol' middle class taxpayer, former Democrat, who now votes Republican and who knows no one who is a segregationist or a racist who votes like I do.

Clinton is a liar and an perverted opportunist--his misogyny alone renders him worthless--add to this his "loathing" of the military and his underlying hatred of America and you get a clear picture of the leader of the Democrat Party. No wonder I left that institution.

I have a new theory on Lott. Robert Novak has said that Lott used to say the same thing to Strom all the time. I think the Dems knew that and set the trap-knowing full well, that Trent was probably going to say it again-and Trent didn't disappoint. The Democrats have a dirty tricks operation and I would bet anything, they were just waiting for Trent to open his mouth-they were probably nervous that he might not say his usual Strom salutation.I think this whole "Republicans are racists" campaign has been in the works for awhile and it wouldn't surprise me,if they had been trailing Lott with a camera for a long time. This doesn't excuse Lott for playing right into their hands, but I think their outrage has been rehearsed-I imagine the high fives and jubilation at the DNC was enormous when Trent followed the script.

He should be a little careful with his own choice of words since it's being spread around that he had his own segregationist policies when he was the governor of Arkansas. He just doesn't get it does he? The finger he's pointing has THREE pointing back at HIM! This guy has to be from another planet. He can't really be human.

"Former President Clinton said Wednesday it is "pretty hypocritical" of Republicans to criticize incoming Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott for stating publicly what he said the GOP does "on the back roads every day. . .How do they think they got a majority in the South anyway?"

No, Bubba, this is how the GOP got the majority in the South. They don't make blanket statements about the racism of southern people, while you and your fellow Dems do.

This is a great idea! I think you should send this in an e-mail to Lott. Even if he doesn't use it, he would get a kick out of it.

Go figure!

Clinton has Lott's FBI file. And a lot of others. Don't underestimate him as a puppetmaster.

Amazing what you can do with unfettered access to the FBI's files, ain't it? That little tidbit about Lott working to keep his fraternity all white tipped their hand...they've been sittin' on that for years.

With Hillary in the Senate and Bill running the DNC, Bush's Administration hangs on the hope that the American people see through the Dem b*llsh%t and consider national security the single most important issue. With the media in Clinton's pocket, this is serious gut-check time for America.

Bubba talked about the South Carolina "confederate" flag but he neglected to mention Ernest Hollings(D) raising it in the first place. "Ooooh, evil GOP" < /sarcasm >
