Segregation benefits the Democratic party. They're dependent on segregated inner cities to carry out their "knock and drag" election tactics. A truly multicultural, integrated America will benefit the Republican Party,
not the Democrats - who continue to control their constituents with bribes, empty promises and terror.
See also: How Leftists Play the Race Card Against Conservatives , election 2000 and the Democratic leaders (black and white) terrorizing the inner city children with threats of slavery if President Bush wins.
Which party depends on "racism" to win elections? Not the GOP.

They're dependent on segregated inner cities to carry out their "knock and drag" election tactics.Personally, I think they are big on "rise from the dead" election tactics as much as any other tactics. That and buying votes with my tax dollars.

Just after the Florida election drama drew to a close, an African-American staffer for one of the Republican House leaders was having a Christmas dinner with his family, when his twelve-year-old niece asked this question: "Now that Bush has been elected President, am I going to be treated as three-fifths of a human being?"
The same anecdote with slight variations has been reported from all ends of the country. A teacher at a rural black elementary school in South Carolina e-mailed me that her students were asking the same question as the staffer's niece, and also whether - since Bush was now President -- they would be made slaves again. In the April 30th issue of The Weekly Standard, Eric Cohen reports taking a group of black fourth and fifth graders from a Washington housing project to an outing in the nation's capital. The trip was taken just after the Inauguration. A few days earlier, a man had been arrested for firing shots at the White House. Cohen asked the children what they thought of their new President:
"When I heard about the shooting I was pretty happy," said one of the boys with a laugh. "I thought Bush might have got shot." Other comments were just as bitter,
"President Bush is going to put us all back in slavery."
"He's going to round up all the black people and kill them."
Where on earth could these black youngsters be getting ideas like that? The Democratic Party perhaps? The Democratic Party's presidential candidate? The leadership of the Civil Rights movement? The inescapable answer is: all three.
It was the Democratic Party and the NAACP ...
Please see above link for the rest of the article...and pass it on. Hillary can get away with accusing our whole party of racist election tactics that she herself practices as long as America never learns the truth. Her party doesn't own the whole soapbox anymore.

Not much different than Joe LIEberman spending lots of time in Florida speaking to elderly jewish residents about their social security payments being cut if George Bush becomes president.
The dems cannot win with the truth so they do what they do best, divide and lie.

I don't doubt for a second the democrats use questionable tactics like this "knock and drag" system and demonizing republicans to coerce black voters to the polls, but what I don't get is this: First of all, unless these operatives were to accompany each person to the voting booth itself, why would they vote democrat? I know if I were forced into voting, I'd be so resentful I'd vote for the other party, or vote for noone at all. Second, blacks must already be in favor of the democrat party, otherwise why would they fall for the democrat's vicious, over-the-top (so much in fact that if it weren't so serious, it'd be side-splitting hilarious) race-baiting? Surely noone could be that stupid or gullible?

The 'rats are really having a hard time with this.
Claims that pubbies are racist might hold some weight when we were a minority opinion, but much harder to sell when we hold a majority.
Racism was the tool to keep us a minority party.
I don't think it's gonna wash now.

"Which party depends on "racism" to win elections? Not the GOP." Incredible...and NOT A PEEP from the cowards in the major media , nor even from any high-profile GOP pol.
There is indeed a war being waged from within. Islam is but one enemy...

Peer pressure is a powerful thing.
I'm the black sheep of my family.
They know I'm a Rep.
They are all union 'rats.
Holidays often become arguements because I will not back down somedays.
I feel sad for my relatives...we will hold power for many years to come.

"I don't think it's gonna wash now." Nope, it's just driving middle-class (suburban) Democrats to the Republicans.

I am sure there are a lot of us black sheep amongst our family members. My dad watches CNN 24/7/365. Believes everything they say, and worships Car vile, and Bubba. When he speaks about politics around the holidays, nearly everyone in my large family shakes their head in agreement.

Ryan Lizza reveals how Dems got out the black vote. I think this is just a cover story on how good they are at getting out a 90% black vote. The real story is NO ONE gets out any kind of a 90% vote.
I regularly get polled by E-mail and the first thing they ask is did I vote, then who did I vote for. Then they get to their poll topic, once they have factored in my bias. I would like to see some kind of a poll where some of these 90% voters are polled these same questions and then check the voting records to see if those that didn't vote wind up as having voted.

HILLARY CLINTON SAID on 12/20/02: "If anyone thinks that one person stepping down from a leadership position cleanses the Republican Party of their constant exploitation of race, then I think you're naive," Clinton said. And I'll BUMP this thread in the Morning!

I still love that one. If only we could all be so carefree and gay chipper on our way to the polls.
