Michelle E. Ruditsky, of Reese Court, filed the lawsuit yesterday in state Superior Court, Toms River, claiming that flight attendant Tawanda Stewart "negligently and carelessly spilled a large cup of hot tea" on her right forearm.

I can defeat them on a technicality...

I guess that there aren't accidents anymore, just lawsuits in waiting.

What is this, Cagey? Okay, an elderly woman sued McDonalds and won big bucks because her grandson bought her a hot coffee at the drive-through window and then took off fast enough that it spilled in her lap. And someone else is suing Burger King for a copycat suit now.

I guess if you need money, you act like an irresponsible idiot, don't know that coffee is hot and then find a greedy lawyer. Starbucks better watch out. They have deep pockets and there are too many hungry lawyers and too many idiots.

On a recent Delta flight an attendant spilled a little water on me, got very upset, apologized all over the place.
I kept telling her I was fine, she got more on herself than me, but she just kept thanking me for being so kind. At the end of the flight she brought us a bottle of champagne and thanked me again for being so kind. I told my husband they must get all kinds of jerks if she was so concerned over a little spilled water on a passenger.

I would think the jury and or the Judge would have greater culpability allowing this oft repeated farcical activity to slip by.

"said the company does not comment on pending litigation."

This happens time after time. Only one story gets out to the court of public opinion, and it's always for the plaintiff.

Can't these "newspersons" find another passenger from the flight to comment? Or would that require some actual work?
