I'd like to propose a theory that the men came in from Canada into Maine. It is extremely easy to cross the border undetected here. The FBI themselves say that Maine is an area to watch as far as terrorist traffic is concerned. Maine is just a hop and a skip from Boston and New York, and is just a few days drive to Florida or New Jersey.

It could be as simple as that, that it's easy pickings in Maine. And wasn't M. Atta caught on video at a Maine airport on 911? I'm probably remembering incorrectly, but it was in New England, I'm sure of that much.

You normally go thru Vermont first..N.H. into Maine if on the Montreal route and there are supposedly "terrorist" cells in Montreal for sometime.
