Well, as usual, cable news networks are in their canned program mode. Even CNN man could not even talk straight, as if surprised by breaking news.
To: cardinal4
Doctors without Borders are volunteer physicians who have practices in other countries.
To: Conservababe
You are right about the canned mode, Fox still doesnt have it..
To: Conservababe
Don't you know? If it doesn't happen while the nation is awake, it's not news. Would like to know more about the doctors, where from, with whom, etc.

"Suspected Islamic extremist"
I think we can pretty much rule out the "suspected" part.

CNNI reporter (Richard Quest - london-based financial anchor) did a good job talking to a Yemeni journalist.
The local journo named the dead, said the attack was almost certainly premeditated (it coincided with the US docs handing over to locals) and is almost certainly islamic extremists (who also shot dead a socialist politician on the weekend) angered at Yemeni Govt crackdown on them.

Cant find anything else, MSNBC has it now but nothing on who they are affiliated with. Im wondering if one of them could be an Embassy doctor..
To: Conservababe
This makes me sick. It may be Doctors w/o Borders, but in any event they are in all likely hood US Docs who have voluntered their time and talent to help others.

Wow, I must say I have torn feelings. It sounds like such an inhuman thing to do, but aren't we supposed to UNDERSTAND why this type of killing is so POPULAR,alla Congresswomen Murray from the great State of Washington?
