But Greenspan isn't a Republican. And you can claim Powell if you want to. I wouldn't.

Actually, none of the Americans listed have been given a title.

Knighthoods (and Baronetcies) are not titles of nobility. As far as I know "nobles" in the UK consist of Peers and Peeresses and their spouses only (no, not even the kids are legally "noble".

BTW Peers are the holders of any of the followng titles: Duke, Marquess, Earl, Viscount, or Baron.

Peers can be either Hereditary (title gets passed on to your decendants) or Life (Title becomes extinct when the Peer or Peeress dies.)

This missing amemdment stuff is BS. Promoted by people who think it would make all lawyers outlaws.
