Please put me on your ping list for the Laci Peterson case.

Did any of you see the weird note that Scott posted for the searchers...something about how he was talking to Laci about them and telling her they were looking for her....this guy has mental problems, if you ask me.

1. He actually went fishing and aliens abducted her for pregnancy experiments. They'll probably drop her off in a week or two near Sausalito.

2. He went fishing as an alibi while the thugs he hired to abduct and kill her did the job.

3. He did go fishing as an alibi but disposed of her body along the way.

4. He didn't go fishing and can't substantiate the story. He had an argument and killed her.

5. He had a hot little "rainbow trout" on the side and murdered his wife to eventually be with her.

6. The burglary across the street was seen by Lacy and the stiffs doing the job decided to deep six her.

7. Lacy is a smart girl, knew the husband was a lout and skipped town hoping to throw suspicion on the moron and see him breathe a little gas at Quentin!

I don't have a good feeling about the husband here. Your wife is 8.5 months pregnant, thus quite capable of going into labor at any moment, and you decide it's a good time to go out on an all day fishing trip 70+ miles away, leaving her behind with no one else at home, to fend for herself?

Maybe my husband and I are different from the majority... but we didn't do anything particularly different when I was pregnant - I worked as a physical therapist up until delivery with both our kids, and hubby was out in the field on an intense week-long combat casualty course that ended the day I went into labor with our second child. We drove 90 miles or so out into the country for a folk music festival less than a week before the baby was born. I flew across country about 2 weeks before the baby was born for a job interview in the next place we were locating.

I don't see anything out of the ordinary with the husband going off for a few hours when he has a day off, giving the wife a few hours to finish Christmas plans.

LOL... nah, no pioneer. Type A personality at times perhaps, but to me "roughing" it is a condo in Maui for the past few days without being able to hook up the laptop to the Internet (blast Dell tech support!)

I live in Antioch, and this afternoon there was a helicopter hovering up and down the canal that runs through town.I don't know the source, but someone else on this thread may. I know it runs in the right direction-from Modesto area-not to Modesto area. It's not out of the question that you could drive through Tracy,Byron,Brentwood,Antioch to reach the bay area;we do it all the time.

Last week it was reported that down on Yosemite Blvd. (where the bloodhounds followed scent) a person reported hearing a woman's voice yelling "Help ME!"

I'm confused. I thought that the person reporting the screams lives on the parks border?

Officers brought in the dog Thursday and let it loose in front of Peterson's house, thinking it might go to a dirt trail less than a block away that she used to go to Dry Creek.
Instead, the dog stayed on neighborhood streets, made its way to Yosemite Boulevard and headed west.

Why isn't he on the air pleading for his wife's safe return? Because he doesn't want his face exposed unnecessarily?

Good point.

They relesed pictures of his truck and boat and said that the recipt alone cannot rule him out as a possible suspect.
They also say that a lead about the robbery came in and they will be able to determine any connection between it and Laci's disaperance. I'll bet some of the merchandise has been spotted, although I do not think that the theives took her. Here are my choices of senarios by rank.
1. He did it.
2. She left him.
3. The robbers took her.
4. Baby Brokers?

Thanks. I was just thinking, if the bloodhounds traced her scent to the garbage bins at E&J Gallo winery, they need to start checking the garbage dumps. Her husband or whomever could have dumped the body in the bin knowing it would be picked up soon. Just a thought.
