...like Lott had to apologize for his statements, but it'll never happen....I believe I heard on Fox News tonight through my wife's chattering - er, conversation - that Lott is in line now for chariman of the Senate Rules Committee, after we were all told originally that he would never chair any committee in the new Senate - perhaps the outrage expressed by braves souls such as yourself has paid off at least a bit.......

Now posted on Fox News webpage - Lott is saying this will happen, but no comment from Senator Santorum, who was scheduled to take over the Rules Committee - hmmmm......
