What does the commie bastard think that he's running here? Say, don't YOU call him that. That's what Todd calls him.

Thanks. Telling isn't.
"But administration officials said their intent was to improve forest management rules enacted under President Clinton two months before he left office."
To: Fred Mertz

Put your money where you mouth is. Post the ARTICLE where it says George W. Bush is sending Michael Powell to MEET with Jesse Jackson or forever be known as a liar.
I'm sick to death of your misconstruing stories, bad as they are, to suit your bigoted, racist agenda.
You are actually worse than a liberal.

Speaking from experience in the area of wetlands protection , I can tell you that this Act will have horrible consequences. Your land will no longer be your land.

Something bothers me a bit about the idea that Bush should dictate to everyone in his administration to whom they can speak. There is a balance here, but balance is simply not the cup of tea of so many. In any event, this thread seems to have devolved into a flame war about nothing. Granted, I haven't read it all, and don't intend to. I got the jist, and that was enough to truncate my interest.

He is NOT meeting with Jesse Jackson and if you were honest, you'd know it.
Or do you, too, think it's awful that the Bush administration associates with blacks, like Todd does?

Now that I can deal with.. Let the states decide if it's worth it to them to "protect" these resources in a manner that kills the livelyhood of their citizens. And let their elected officials rule on it and take the heat for it at the local level.
However, why did he re-authorize this act? Don't you think this seems to be in direct conflict with these 2001 "budget documents" which imply the exact opposite?

I know, but I see Bush doing things like not signing an EO, and turning over control of important State issues to the States, and my blood just boils!
BTW, don't you just have a mental picture of Todd sitting somewhere, staring at a picture of Ann Coulter, and whispering "my precious"...over, and over?

It's the same thing every single time Todd gets on -- which is every single thread on FR latgely -- a thread and starts spamming selective articles and claiming Bush is a commie rat, etc.
I know HE doesn't know any better, but there are people out there who care about the truth.
Things are bad enough with regard to the Democrats and the race "thing." When you have somebody on a forum who pretends to be a conservative misconstruing facts to suit his own agenda, it just makes it worse.

"However, why did he re-authorize this act?"My instincts tells me that it's a meaningless political gesture.
But I'm not done reading about it.
