While I do firmly maintain that scripture in no way supports Esau as "bigfoot" (1. he was Jacob's brother, 2. he was mentioned later and he was not living as a savage, but as a sucessful man in his day) if you are really a well meaning Christian who just doesn't know any better, then I am sorry for jumping down your throat.
I get so sick and tired of people trying to warp scripture to advance various agendas (Peter was a fag, Jesus healed with pot, Jesus would hate you for driving an SUV, etc. You name it and I have heard it at least thrice.) that it has become something of a knee jerk reaction with me..
