Tom Liddy, son of G. Gordon Liddy, is new Maricopa County Republican Chairman

Tom Liddy, the young, handsome, erudite son of G. Gordon Liddy, won an important election this morning which I attended as a Precinct Committeeman. He is now the Chairman of the Maricopa County Republican Committee. He was elected by the Precinct Committeemen of Maricopa County as a write-in candidate.

His most recent qualifications for this assignment were: He was First Vice-Chair for District 20 in 2002; he was a volunteer for JD Hayworth for Congress in 2002; he was a Precinct Comitteeman for District 6, 2000-2002; and he was a congressional candidate in 2000.

Liddy is a welcome change after the weak Republican response to the Libertarian effort to hand the governship to radical leftist Janet Napolitano. Hopefully, unlike his father, he is not a McCain sycophant.
