The Lord Jesus ate meat. Who made you better than Him?

Since the fall, and more specifically the Flood, animal death is a fact of life--and never is the eating of meat forbidden in God's law (as a matter of fact is was required...from animal sacrifice, under the Old Covenant)--including in the perfect example of obedience to God, namely Jesus Christ.

Gee, MSCASEY, is it not written, "let no man therefore judge you in meat, the sabbath, or an holy day". In a vision wasn't there a sheet lowered from heaven with all kinds of animals and wasn't Peter told to eat?

Theologically, this makes no sense. Why on Earth would God have made each species of animal to thrive on a different kind of diet, and then forced them all to eat like herbivores?
