Good God Man, give me a BARF ALERT before one of these Liberal spewings! :^ )
Thanks to you and to the rest of the D.C. chapter too.

I don't understand why anyone CARES what Gore thinks. The press doesn't print innumerable stories by other failed presidential candidates, and they don't print vanity pieces by ex-vice presidents (Yeah, I'll wait for the headline "Quayle supports War").
Why do they think we care what Gore is up to?

oh, dear God...
The way-the-hell-too-far-to-the-left tinfoil-hat-wearing weasels are tying to negate the growing regognition among the American People that the "mainstream" media are dominated by not-quite-so-way-the-hell-too-far-to-the-left pimps for the DNC by labelling the iota of difference away from leftist extremism that said media might (sometimes, mayyyyybe) display as "a massive swing to the right"???
I would be busting a gut laughing, if this issue wasn't so damned serious.
This ploy might work.
Remember the "Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy"?
Wasn't it Goebbels who formulated it? "Repeat a lie often enough, loudly enough, and it becomes the truth."
To: kristinn
Beyond the media sarcasm, right-wing activists hounded Gore when he appeared in public, including demonstrating against his book signings. He couldn't run for president because some folks exercised their free speech rights. Ha!
The Left just can't stand it when conservatives take to the streets. That's their territory, but we've co-opted it with so much more class, humor, originality and verve.

Thanks for the memories -- it was fun freeping Algore and Tipper!
It was cold that day with snow still on the ground. Good training for this Saturday's rally!

Wow. This "journalist" is amazingly, obviously LIBERAL. No balanced reporting here! No responsible reporting here either. No, wait, Silly me! Mainstream media is CONSERVATIVE, right?
Jeez, do these morons ever watch thier own mainstream ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN...media?! Every single anchor is a radical RAT and totally slants every story to fit with their own agenda! How can they possibly think we will believe the hype about conservative bias? Oh, I know...IT'S A JEDI MIND TRICK....(now waving hand in front of America's face) THE MEDIA IS CONSERVATIVE, THE MEDIA IS CONSERVATIVE...

If not for the media's fabrication of quotes and distortion of Gore's personal history... If anything the media distorted Gore's personal history to make him look more favorable. I didn't see any major media reveal that Gore flunked out of both Seminary and Law School. Oh, sorry, did I say flunk out. Technically, he withdrew... because he was flunking.
...conservative outlets, such as the Washington Times and Fox News, and mainstream ones, including the New York Times and the Washington Post...
Telling.
But Gores decision did not sit well with some Democrats who remain outraged over Bushs hardball strategies in Florida, including the disenfranchisement of thousands of African-American voters.
How's that for taking unsubstantiated conjecture and reporting it as fact. Aren't they still looking for some African-American ("anyone, anyone at all") in Florida who will testify that they were prevented from voting? On the other hand, we have ample evidence that the Gore camp challenged almost every single absentee ballot of U.S. servicemen. How despicable.
I love some of the quotes from the liberal media this article puts together. If that's how your allies feel about you, not running for the White House is probably the first wise thing Al Gore's ever done.

Who are these consortium people? Typical Democrat/Green left-whiners. Notice how they put forth the demands of how to counter what they call "conservative bias" but they want somebody else to fund it.
Why don't they get off their own ass and do it? Maybe it's a money loser? Hmmm?
To: bootless
"I find this hilarious. Since when is the WashPost a conservative, non-mainstream outlet?" And since when is the columnist in question, Michael Kelly, a conservative?
Kelly is a liberal. But he's one of those rare liberals who has somehow retained a conscience -- and the ability to discern right from wrong.
