I wish I could take credit for all of this. After becoming enraged at these guys, I started sniffing around the 'Net & found this article. I am hoping to take it further, however, and find out who, exactly, is funding these guys.

Voices in the Wilderness has a webpage hosted by the International Action Center at:
http://www.iacenter.org/wilderns.htm
The following statement is from their site:
We oppose the development, storage and usein any countryof any weapons of mass destruction, be they nuclear, chemical, biological or economic. We advocate active development of effective nonviolent methods of social struggle.

Why would Ramsey Clark be participating in a non-profit sponsered inquiry into war crimes of a force he supposedly commanded?I believe you're thinking of General Wesley Clark, former Supreme Allied Commnder of Europe for NATO.
Ramsey Clark was Attorney General in the LBJ administration.

"On Monday, I am going to contact the NY Attorney General's Office to find out..."
Monday is a Federal holiday. I enjoy celebrating the birth of Robert E. Lee on this holiday and wonder what that honorable man would make of the traitorous organizations listed in this post.

If I am not mistaken it was David Corn who recently brought up the fact that the anti war rallies are being funded by communist groups.
In a recent column he warned the left to beware of who is organizing these rallies.

Nation magazine has said that ANSWER is supported by the World Workers Party, an international communist organization.
I was at the health club yesterday, and already annoyed by the surfeit of lefties protesting on every freeway overpass, when coverage of the protest in DC came on the tv. I just couldn't stop myself, I had to comment rhetoricly, but I knew the woman who had been watching animal planet would respond. I remarked that I would like to ask the stupid protesters what the difference is between using military force on Milosovic and on Sadam, was Milosovic worse than Saddam? The animal planet lady answered with a smile, "It's all about oil." I said, " No it's not, we could buy all the oil we wanted from Iraq." Kosovo was more about oil than Iraq. She dithered a bit and then just smiled and said, well there's an election coming up and it's really all about that. She also admitted to being a leftist herself.

I came across that list (oops, forgot to link it, but it is on their website). It's very interesting to see who their supporters are, particularly the ones identified as part of the *steering panel.
I hope Rush discusses some of this on his show this week. People really need to understand what some of these groups are up to, where the funding comes from--especially WHY.

The left needs to be educated. As is typical of most things, it's up to us on the right to do it.

Some of these orgs seem to be nothing more than fronts for ways of easily moving money around from one entity to another. dware found some information that seemed to show how one of them had started as a daycare (DAYCARE??) center--now defunct, and replaced by a radical fringe group.
WHAT is going on? I'm all for free speech, but I am not willing to allow fringe groups that are being funded by foreign interests to undermine our country by manipulating a bunch of leftist 60s crackpots with fried brains.
