I distinctly remember Dolphin Garo Yepremian "kicking a touchdown" in Super Bowl VII. ....although the Redskins scored the TD ;)

It is amazing how easy it is to switch your view of a player just because of the uni he wears. I can no longer stand Romanowski, when just a year ago I would stand in my living room and yell ROMO!!! every time he would make a hit. Ray Crockett on the other hand it is not too difficult to dislike- I never liked him much in a Broncos uniform.

Romo seems to be hated by almost every player and fan on the opposing side, and loved by the home folks. But I actually liked and respected the guy when he was on the Broncos, even though I'm a Raider fan. ....I guess it's because he's a throwback.

I never could stand Romanowski. Not even when he was a Niner. He's always had good game but he ruins it with his attitude. At least he's not as bad as Deon was. He was the only player that I can remember watching that I would hope for a career ending injury on every play...even if he was on the sidelines.

Starting to get psyched. Get used to the following image. We're going to be seeing a lot of it over the next two weeks.
Superbowl MVP, Donovan McNabb
GO IGGLES!

This one guy, all by himself, is enough for me to despise the carpetbagging Raiders:

I don't think that's doable.
Hey.... Maybe you could invest in a plasma TV and he'd be very impressed for a longer period of time.

(Come on Bucs and Raiders let's finish this off.)
To: Mr. Mojo
One of my favorite after play incidents came from Romo- Kordell Stewart throws an interception in the end zone that cost Pitt the championship against the Broncos- Romo walks up and smacks his own forehead in an obvious taunt of Stewart's lack of thinking on the play.
That game was the end of Stewart as an effective qb.

And the memory of this guy, all by himself, is enough for me to root for the Bucs:

I gotta admit - these times would have been great for me back in the heavy drinking days about 25 years ago. Now it doesn't matter too much although the Super Bowl starting around 6:30 EST always rubbed me the wrong way.
To: SamAdams76
The traditional 1PM starts are not convenient for me at all as I usually have a lot going on around the house at that time. Here in the Central Time Zone, those kickoffs are at noon. When you're a season ticket holder who tailgates (like I am), those home game Sundays start reeeeeal early.

We may disagree about the Godfather, but I'm with you on this one....McKay was a class act.
