U.S. urges Iraqi soldiers to rebel

WASHINGTON, Jan. 20 (UPI) -- The U.S. Central Command, which oversees military operations in Iraq, is urging Iraqi soldiers to rebel against Saddam Hussein in an effort to prevent him from persecuting the people of his nation.

The message, aired to the Iraqi soldiers in special radio broadcasts, said the Iraqi dictator deceives his people by creating a false sense of national pride.

Seems kinda wordy to me.
I suppose in a flowery Arabic it might come across better.

I was thinking more along the lines of

Surrender or die.
