I'm not usually in favor of lawsuits, but in this case I believe it is more than warranted and I hope they sue for all its worth.

Notice how the police force and the mayor are trying to make everyone else look like the crazies... the media, the "puppy lovers," and all the rest of the citizens who see the absolute sensless violence by the LEOs.
