I don't think so - in fact, I think the guy was a plant by Iraq. They were trying to get the UN to take the guy so that Iraq could scream bloody murder that the UN had kidnapped one of their people.

And ... don't you know Iraq knows how to play the mainstream media - Reuters, UPI, AP - they would have splashed it all over the world.

I don't think this guy was a plant....it makes Iraq look bad by dragging him out of the car while he screams "save me".
