The big thing to get from that post was that he was totally blindsided on the Tampa Bay Buccaneer's victory (he almost offered 500-1 odds). Walk away from his "predicition" that he totally missed the mark. At least Hunter at times is more intellectually honest (he saw Bubba as being false but did little to confront him on this in his rountable/pre-election interview with the editor, PJ O'Rourke and some other pol-doofus). But in politics I would never expect him to take the conservative position (maybe he could swing to the libertarians as lefty-Tim Leary could; Leary saw the commies in the leftist organizations he took part in the 1950s and believed in keeping his money).
Generally I consider the leftists to be useful idiots trying to sway the undecided. They know not from where they speak but try to sway people (fans) to the party line. The right doesn't have such outspoken celebrities because we believe that we would just be preaching to the converted (telling them something that they already know).
